Intro to Running is a foundational 8-week running program that introduces new and returning runners to a structured and consistent training program that facilitates aerobic adaptations while minimizing common running-related barriers such as injury, burnout, and poor energy system utilization.
Informed by scientific literature and endurance training theory, the program utilizes a zone-based training model to help athletes properly train and recover while better understanding how subjective metrics, such as RPE (Rate of Perceived Exertion) and fatigue, relate to their overall heart-rate zones.
With the completion of this program, runners should expect to see increases in aerobic adaptations, durability, and running economy, as well as have a better understanding of their overall running capabilities.
